Arrest made after pursuit ends in Wye

Dear Residents,

On Wednesday 26th August 2026, Police were made aware of a nuisance motorbike being ridden by two males in the South Ashford area. Police sighted the motorbike on Trinity Road, which appeared to also be in convoy with a Blue Hyundai and followed both vehicles along Faversham Road. After a short pursuit, Police apprehended the Blue Hyundai containing two male occupants outside of Havillands Place, Wye. Both drivers were detained, with one arrested for Failing to Stop, and the other dealt with for cannabis possession. 

We will continue to tackle vehicle crime robustly, bringing all offenders on the road to justice!
